Short, practical answers for the people who run communities.

Inviting members

Invite personally by email, or create an invite link with a usage cap and a label for each context — one for the bulletin, one for the youth group. Links are permanent, human-readable permalinks: safe to print.

Setting up roles

Start with the five built-in roles. Grant additional permissions to individuals when a role is almost right, and create custom roles when your community has its own shape.

Opening your community to visitors

Publish a discovery profile with your community's story and photos. Visitors can read it without an account — joining still happens on your terms.

Keeping the community safe

Turn on the security policies that fit: required two-factor, passwordless sign-in, session limits. Review the audit log when you need to know what happened.
